BRAINS – Hopster

The Challenge

Having the opportunity to work alongside advertising agency ‘Hello Starling’ their client ‘BRAINS’ were seeking an ad campaign to launch as apart of their yearly April fools campaign.

Solution

The story played out that BRAINS had devised a new ‘beard enhancing beet’ that stimulates the growth of hair in men, more specifically, grows beards for those who struggle. This is where the ‘Hopster’ was born, a mix between ‘hipster’ and ‘beer hop’, a new craft beer that was going to be launched to revolutionise the beard growth game. The campaign launched on April 1st 2016 for one-day deployed onto multiple platforms from web, print, and digital billboards. Working alongside HelloStarling and two other students, we collaborated on the idea, concepts, through to the art direction and photography aspects of the campaign.

The ad campaign was run for one day deployed onto multiple platforms ranging from web, print and digital platforms around the City of Cardiff.
