Having the opportunity to work alongside advertising agency ‘Hello Starling’ their client ‘Brains’ were seeking an ad campaign to launch as apart of their yearly April fools campaigns.
The story played out that BRAINS had devised a new ‘beard enhancing beer’ that stimulates the growth of hair in men, more specifically, grows beards for those who struggle. This is where the ‘Hopster’ was born, a mix between ‘hipster’ and ‘beer hop’ , a new craft beer that was being released to revolutionalise the beard growing game. The campaign launched on April 1st 2016 for one day on multiple platforms from web, print ,and digital billboards. Working alongside HelloStarling and two other students, we worked upon the concept, art direction + photography aspects of the campaign.
The ad campaign was run for one day deployed onto multiple platforms ranging from web, print, and digital billboards, specifically around the City of Cardiff.
